Five PDC drilling bits were sent to Uzbekistan for testing

28 April 2025

Recently, five PDC drilling bits were sent to Uzbekistan for testing by plane. This order for drilling bits is very urgent and serious. We received the requirements from the client, and immediately prepared the drawings for their approval. Moreover, we completed the production of five drilling bits in the shortest possible time. These drilling bits will be tested on the drilling rig.

There are drilling bits with diameters of 132mm, 139.7mm, and 142mm. Their technical parameters are as follows: Nipple 2 7/8 REG (Z-76 right-hand thread), 5 blades, steel grade 40NiCrMo6, cutter number 1613, steel body, and 5 hydraulic monitors.
There are drilling bits with a diameter of 114mm. Their technical parameters are as follows: Nipple 2 7/8 REG (Z-76 right-hand thread), 4 blades, steel grade 40NiCrMo6, cutter number 1613, steel body, and 4 hydraulic monitors.
There are drilling bits with a diameter of 105mm. Their technical parameters are as follows: Nipple 2 3/8 REG, 4 blades, steel grade 40NiCrMo6, cutter number 1613, steel body, and 4 hydraulic monitors.
These drilling bits are designed for drilling vertical and deviated wells in hard rocks of hardness categories 7-9, with the wellbore being flushed by a drilling fluid.

In addition to the above-mentioned drilling bits, there are also drilling bits with a diameter of 132mm. Their technical parameters are as follows: Nipple 2 3/8 REG, 3 blades, steel grade 40NiCrMo6, cutter number 1308, steel body, and 3 hydraulic monitors. This drilling bit is designed for drilling vertical and deviated wells in soft and medium-low abrasive rocks of hardness categories 3-7, with the wellbore being flushed by a drilling fluid.
